I renewed my love for cars in 2018 when I found a 1967 Ford T-Bird, which was my very first car as a teenager. I began working on the T-Bird at home but found it difficult to work due to the space limitations of a 2 car garage. My hope was to find a space to work. Before that happened I found another project, A 1970 Ford Torino Wagon. Now I really needed more space.

Enter MY MECHANICS PLACE located in Livonia Michigan. They rent out space by the hour, day, or month. PERFECT!

Even though the T-Bird was officially my first project, I decided on the Torino to work with first. It was in need of a full restoration and as far as I know… the bird is just in need of brakes and the front clip needing repairs.

So begins my journey in classic car repair. I am re-learning some old talents as well as learning a few new ones along the way.

I hope you enjoy my projects as much as I do!
